What’s a Heat Pump?

A heat pump is capable of heating and cooling your home, like an all-in-one air conditioner and furnace. So, if you’re looking to add air conditioning to your home or thinking of replacing your old furnace, a heat pump will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter!

Option #1 Dual Fuel Ducted Heat Pumps $8,000 Rebate

If your home currently has a gas furnace, you can replace it with a new furnace and a heat pump while taking advantage of $8,000 in rebates.

This type of heat pump can cool your home in the summer and heat your home in the winter. When the temperature outside drops below 5 degrees, the natural gas furnace will take over from the electric heat pump to heat your home.

Option #2 Central Ducted Heat Pump $11,000 – $17,000 Rebate

The Daikin brand DC96VC Variable-Speed Two-Stage communicating systems furnace provides exceptional indoor comfort and quiet operation. This furnace features a stainless steel tubular heat exchanger and durable silicon nitride ignition system. With its two-stage gas valve and variable-speed airflow system, the DC96VC provides homeowners with comfort all season long.

Option #3 Ductless Split Heat Pump $6,000-$17,000 Rebate

If you have baseboards, radiant heating, or a furnace, a ductless split system is for you. These systems are up to 3x more efficient than electric baseboards and do not require ducting to heat or cool your home. Ductless systems are small, wall- and ceiling-mounted cassettes that blow warm or cool air and can be installed and controlled on a room-by-room basis. These systems are very popular in condos and apartments where ducting is not required and space is limited. Ductless split heat pump systems qualify for a $6,000 to $17,000 rebate.
